Vintage General Electric (GE) Model 1940 miniature aviation lamp, new old stock in original GE packaging. This lamp was manufactured for aviation instrument panels, avionics indicators, and precision control applications, where dependable illumination was required. The original box is clearly marked “Burn Lamp Base Up or Down”, indicating flexible operating orientation. The lamp appears unused, with a clear glass envelope and intact brass base, and includes its original protective paper sleeve. An excellent choice for aircraft restoration, maintenance spares, industrial equipment, or collectors of vintage GE electrical and aviation components. Packaging shows normal shelf wear consistent with age.
